SENTINELS LACROSSE
Mountain Ridge Youth Lacrosse is excited to kick off another season of lacrosse! We promise to create an excellent experience by developing character, teaching fundamentals, being part of a team and honoring the game.
LACROSSE OVERVIEW
BASICS: Lacrosse known as is the fastest game on two feet, the Creator’s game, and the medicine game. It’s growing more rapidly than any other sport. If Lacrosse is new to you, you’re definiitely not alone.
STRUCTURE: The boys youth league is comprised of new and experienced players from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The league has two seasons, Fall and Spring, and players are placed on those teams that correspond to the high school boundary in which they live.
Integrity
Do the right thing every time. Our athletes will strive to be leaders on and off the field. Lacrosse warriors on the field and respectful warriors off the field.
Teamwork
Do my job, trust my teammates will do theirs and the team becomes a champion. Our community is part of our team and we will represent our community with pride.
Commitment
The never-ending promise to yourself and your team. There is always room for improvement. We will strive to be our best on the field, in the classroom and at home.

SPRING 2024 LACROSSE SEASON REGISTRATION
Spring Season Lacrosse registration is available between November 24th – February 13th
Early Bird Registration: November 24th – January 9th ($10 discount)
Standard Registration: January 10th – February 5th
Late Registration: February 6th – February 13th (+$35 fee)
Practices:
Spring Season practices may begin on February 21st
All practice days and times are determined by each team and coach
Games:
Game schedules will be available from the league by March 8th
Youth Games Begin on Saturday, March 16th
Last Day of Games are on Saturday, May 11th
(5-8 Championship Games will be held on Wednesday, May 15th)
All teams play at least 8 games over course of the Spring Season
